For the first time Dragtimes team conducts the European stage of Unlim 500+ and its destination is Greece.

The fastest Unlim 500+ cars from Russia and also cars from Europe will compete in 1 mile distance races. The European stage of Unlim 500+ gives a unique chance to find out what your car is capable of in comparison with the most powerful cars of our planet. Race America timing equipment will allow recording ¼ mile and 1 mile time with accuracy to thousandths of second.

6. Nissan GT-R (R35) Mk.2 Altechno A1 (1200 hp)
7. Porsche 911 Turbo (997) Mk.1 DT 1200 R (1200 hp)
8. Porsche 911 GT3 RS (997) Mk.1 9ff Garrett (1000 hp)
9. Nissan Juke R SV-Engineering Stage 2 (700 hp)
10. BMW M6 (F13) PP-Performance Stage 2 (680 hp)

Total horsepower is more than 13 000 hp, average horsepower is 1 250 hp.

Event scope

Training day, free practice sessions without dividing into categories. Timing will be recorded during the sessions and subsequently published on the official Dragtimes website: www.dragtimes.ru

Recorded performance

The following data is recorded during the races:

• Reaction time (RT);
• 60 feet distance time;
• Speed, “elapsed time” (ET), “straight time” (ET+RT) on ¼ mile distance (402 metres);
• Speed, “elapsed time”, “straight time” on 1 mile distance (1609 metres)

Brief schedule

• Registration of participants: 10:00 – 15:00;
• Races start at 12:00
• Races end at 17:30

Obligatory requirements for participating in races

• Racing license is obligatory. Can be received on-site, costs € 60.
• Racing suit, gloves, shoes and helmet with FIA homologation (required for all participants);
• Fire suppression system (for cars with 1000 and more horsepower).

Obligatory procedures for participating in races

• Medical control during the registration procedure;
• Technical control of cars of the participants including tests for various leaks, overall condition of tires, safety belts, seat anchorage, correct installation of the fire suppression system.

Cost of participation

• Before November 13th – € 500 for one car;
• After November 14th – € 750 for one car
• For the audience: € 15 per person

Commercial fuel station will be organized for the participants with the following fuel types sold there:

Hello guys,

The event has finally finished and all drivers walked away in one pice. Unfortunatlly for the cars that was not the case, almost ALL GTRs broke down including the thrilling AMS a 12s and Switser, the poor Gallardo after blowing the engine cought fire and half of the car was destroyed.
The whole event was very amauteristic and much less good that what i was expecting.

The fastest exit speed was achieved by the lambo 398km/h on the mile, but the fastest time was from the GTR alpha 12

See this is what I don't get is why do people build a car that lasts for 5 minutes?

What is the point?

Just to brag that you have the highest top speed or highest amount of bhp?

Waste of money IMO.

Totally agree with you Nick, i just thought that they dont brake down so often. By the way none of the three porsches had any issues, they were just a bit slower but bulletproof, that 9ff GT2 and the blue tip turbo were amazing.

how did Megion do? What are his times?

 

2 cars had axle fail
1 transmition
1 engine block cracked
1 detonation
2 nobody knows
The UGR TTG piston cracked and the oil tap jumped out, as a resault it cought fire
