worth it upgrade vgt turbo?
Greetings from Spain
this is my car porsche 997.1 TT
on my list of mods are:
intercoolers GT2 rs
exhaust sistem Cargraphic 200 cells
FVD ecu
first install the exhaust system,
and then tune the ecu FVD
there was a large difference in power before and after ecu tune
my question is.
VTG if I upgrade, I will feel a difference in power to justify the price?
I need someone to tell me their experience,
thank you very much and a hug to all

Yes I did this with FVD and it was worth it the car was much faster especially at mid to top end. It also drove better with the hybrids with 900nm of torque.
I have now rebuilt my engine to use the turbos to their full potential.

Champion Porsche
If you want to stick with VTG's I think you may find a reasonable number of people would suggest Champion. The quality and service is outstanding and VTG upgrade technology is (most likely) second to none. They have built /upgraded my 997.1 Tip > 68mm VTGs(~665WHP, 605 TQ), 992.2 Turbo S > 68mm VTGs(650WHP, 715TQ ), and GT2 > 68mm VTGs (850 WHP, 765 TQ ) all of which I have stuck with VTGs. Of course, the 997.2 is incredibly quick and the GT2 is just plain incredible.
It is definitely worth the $ IMO.

Depends what you are looking for, the Champion 68's are the best VTGs out there. You can't turn them up to kill mode without an engine build though. 65mm or 63.5mm work great and you don't need the compressor housing upgrade for them. If you want to push things really hard and still have some room left if you do an engine build get the TiAL Alpha 3071 or 3076. Incidentally the Champion 68 uses an FP HTA compressor wheel (68mm HTA), and the TiAL Alphas use the same FP HTA wheels - just bigger (71mm/76mm). The GT30 turbine side flows much better so you can get quite a bit more out of them.

thank you all for the answers
to ask whether it is worth, I really want to ask
if the change feels so great in handling?
I do not have any objective 60-130, or anything like
my dealer does not recommend me, says only feel a small improvement
in the middle part.
it really is a big step forward?

with larger VTG turbos, you can be looking at 200 horsepower improvement. Now that isn't just bolt it on and forget it, you'll require all the other supporting mods too. I know on e85, I picked up 100whp additional from full bolt-on and tuned car with only the VTG swap.

I went from a stock car to a 800hp kit.
I feel the power when I'm launching the car (feels like it's going to do a wheelie) but when I'm making 100 to 200Km/h pulls, I don't feel anything special... Feels like stock.
It's like... "That was slow, let me look at the Vbox... WHATTT... under 5s??? COOOOOL"

I hear about the turbos vtg 66mm FVD?
there is any risk of damaging my engine?
change with updated vtg noticed, much as when you change the ecu?
I need opinions please, I'm about to pull the trigger, and I do not like to spend money on something not worth it.

They pull a lot harder in the mid to top end or the rev range where the stock turbos seem to die.
I also recommend you change the coolers to GT2 RS at the very least.

Especially up to 800 it is an awesome choice and well worth it. Especially if you get a good deal . I have had many customers say it filled in what they needed for power and was a true daily car. After 750-800 you are looking at some heavy $$$.
