Noise around driver side rear tire

Hey all,

I have a 2007 997tt with 25k on the clock. Yesterday I noticed a noise coming from the driver side rear within the tire/suspension area. The noise sounds like when something is stuck in the tire and every rotation recreates the noise. I removed both rear tires and there was nothing stuck in either tire which confused me.

I do not hear it under acceleration but rather when I am coasting or slowing down. The only suspension mods I have are the Bilstein damptronics. While the wheels were off, I checked for anything being visibly loose but everything seems fine. The handling does not feel like it has changed or is off.

Has anyone encountered anything like this or have any suggestions? I will get the car over the an indy shop but wanted some feedback from you guys.

Thanks in advance.

-Vin
