ESMOTOR GT3 intake manifold and GT3 turbo cylinder head package
Hello guys,
I would like to show you one of our specific engine developments for 997 Turbo engine.
Our GT3 turbo head and intake manifold package utilizing;
- GT3 Cup heads
Heads are very specially modified to be compatible with 997 Turbo camshafts,
so we can use 997tt cams and still have 750rpm idle and maintain low rpm response and torque.
- Custom valves for Turbo application
Valves are fully custom built to withstand extra heat and pressure inside the turbo engine.
Intake valves are 41mm, exhaust valves are 35.5mm, way bigger than the OEM 997tt.
- Valvetrain parts
Stronger dual valvesprings and retainers are used.
- Intake manifold
Custom designed to minimalize pressure and flow difference across the cylinders,
while maintaining low-mid rpm response.
- Throttlebody
82mm GT3 or our billet 90mm throttle can be used.
Results are very promising so far, we made comparison with 2 different cars with same setups except the heads,
this head made around 0.5 seconds difference on a 60-130mph run at 15psi (1bar) of boost.
here are some pictures;

Hello Emre,
Are the heads CNC match ported as well as matched to the intake runners?
Do the pistons need a larger radius flycut?

Thank you all for your kind words..
Shonuf,
Heads are port matched with intake runners,
and yes pistons need different valve reliefs as valves are significantly bigger compared to stock 997tt.

Cant be used with stock heads, you need bigger ports.
It won't fit on 997.2TT.
Regards,
Emre

Congrats, looks like a piece of art and i assume it will make a huge increase in performance for any of us
these heads with a new gt3 crankshaft will allow 8200+ rpms without beating everything inside the engine ?
low idle and good mid rpms power is very good news, but will the engine continue to produce more power after 7000rpms using regrinded 997tt cams ? how would you compare the top end vs a gt3 street cams engine ?
what are the benefits compared to ported 997tt heads with bigger aftermarket valves, springs, etc..

This setup is made to fully benefit from 997tt head system, so you can still retain vario lift and make power till 7500rpm.
to rev higher (7800+) you need to change the valve tappets with solid ones like the on the GT3 head system.
