997.2 Turbo Updates from Cobb Tuning
#37
That's strange. I guess I never looked into it, but a 2 bar map sensor would read from -1 bar to +1 bar. That effectively means the car can't read the map sensor above 14.5psi of boost? That doesn't sound right.
#38
That is up to 29 psi boost

Unless Porsche is using a non-standard setup that is not correct. MAP sensors need to read negative (vacuum) as well. If it's reading from 0-29psi that's a "standard" 3 bar MAP sensor. The "first bar" is used reading negative.

The stock ones are scaled up to 23psi I believe. Mitch could answer this better but I'd give him a couple days. Dude needs a break this weekend

Hello sorry for the delay I have been on the road for a week or so.
The upgraded map sensors can be bought from BBI, or through Cobb if needed.
The Stage 3 maps are not released yet as we just finished up testing them. If you do get the sensors you will just need to email me and I will need to send you a calibration for the sensors.
Please if anyone has any questions shoot me an email and I would be happy to answer any that you may have.
Thanks,
-Mitch
