also, off topic at this point, but the 918 does 0-60 in 2.2 not 2.5.
real world vbox #s are 2.2.

Hold on here...I just did a stopwatch countdown on this race and it appears to me that the Turbo S had the lead initially and is pretty even at 60mph.

 

Fully agree on street tires.

Though that video is hard to tell from an angle perspective until the end.

Does the 918 ever have traction issues on street tires? I'm interested to see how it would do with some R888's heated up. I love the R888's minus the noise.

 

you could put r888s on anything, and snow tires on the 918, and the 918 will still win.. every time. the 918 makes more power than anything w/ four wheels at idle.


that 2.2 0-60 was done on a std car, not the weissach package which makes it even quicker lol..

gotta love 500 ft lbs of torque at 800 rpm.



in fact, the car probably makes more torque with the engine off than a lambo does in the first few thousand rpms.
