997.2 Turbo S does 6.49 sec 60-130 in 1,800 DA
So I just finished first day at Shift Sector. Airstrip events are usually great places to run other cars but 60-130 records are never broken because density altitudes are high and the airstrip is flat.
I did a run around 2pm when temps were upper 70's and DA was measured about 1,800 feet. I ran a 680 wheel stage 3 supercharged C63 owned by JRCart from a 45mph roll (vids to be posted soon) and pulled on it pretty hard in the mid range. Very surprising.
I look at the VBox after the run and it says 6.5 and I just uploaded to PBox Tools and there you go 6.49.
On a 50 degree morning with a negative slope high 5's are now easily attainable. Just need to wait another month for things to cool down a bit.
from vBox Verify 60-130 mph and 100-200 kph:

Brilliant Adam.
I just got a 6.55 in cooler temps and -2% slope and so I will NEVER catch you.
I see your splits are good so in a DA=0 you will be 0.3 secs quicker and a 2% slope another 0.2s faster.
Epic for a basic bolt on car that also does 0-60 in 2.6X secs

Hey guys thanks for the kinds words. This gets a little interesting and I like transparency so I am going to share all the facts here.
On Saturday morning I did my first run of the day around 9:30am. Just eased on to the throttle from the back of the runway and posted a 161.52 half mile trap. Came back to the pits and Mike from IPD installed their new dimple Y pipe. I'll post up on that later but the cliff notes is that my very next run at about 10:30am when it was about 8 degrees warmer using the same launch method as the first run I trapped 164.82! And the car felt terrific. Mid range (~ 40-120mph) was just brutal.
Now on all my runs later on Saturday I started experienced hesitations which turned out to be the fuel limit of the car. Apparently the Y pipe allowed the car to breath so much better it increased power enough to put me over the car's fuel limit capacity...and as the ECU continued to adapt the fuel cuts became worse and worse. The first time fuel cuts started in 5th gear around 5,000rpm...and then later it would cut in both 4th and 5th gear. So my trap speeds kept getting worse and worse even though my mid-range power was brutal...which is why I could pull such a good 60-130 sometimes.
Come Sunday morning I arranged a pass first thing in the morning before the event started with cool 58 degree temps and car started cutting out in 3rd gear as well. Cut out in 3rd, 4th and 5th and could only manage a 152 trap!
Thankfully GIAC was on hand and Austin reflashed me down to a lower boost file. The car ran flawlessly Sunday but here's the catch...I forgot to switch to race mode so I ran all Sunday on the 91 octane pump file lol. I realized this when after the event I went to gas up for the drive home and I installed the GIAC switcher to the OBD port to switch back to pump mode and noticed I was already on pump mode! lol I can be an idiot sometimes.
On 91 mode it still felt strong but at only 18-19psi I was posting much slower 60-130's - typically in the low to mid 7's. Made for some good races with the two tune-only Turbo S cars that I raced.
There's another airstrip event in 3 weeks so I plan on not being an idiot and I will make sure I'm in race mode for that event haha.

Sorry to hear you are having troubles. That's weird you would be at the fuel max by adding the y-pipe. I'm running that exact setup with no problems and a couple 997.2 guys have all that plus 68s. I would have just taken it off after having the runs get crappier.
Just curious, does it happen at WOT or part throttle and do you have any codes?
The dimpled y pipe did add substantial midrange to my car too. I love it

I have an Aquamist meth kit sitting at home that I removed from my M3. Maybe I will hook it up to see if the meth provides for the additional fuel I need to run the previous file.
