Do I need new cats

Dreaded check engine light came on ...with back to back codes reading p020-p030.. Banks 1 and 2...is this a faulty sensor or do I have to change the cats....someone help a brother out.....thanks

What is your setup? Stock exhaust? Tune? etc.? I did not see it anywhere. That may help with a Dx? Before I would go to the Cat soultion, I would suggest checking/changing the O2 sensor(s)..

Tuned cargraphic exaust.. 3k on exaust with that many I'm hoping it's the sensor..

Yes...Unless there was a defective Cat, I would think it is most likely an O2 sensor(s). I am not sure, but based on the issue, maybe the post Cat O2 since it would be getting the follow up reading and thinking the Cat is not working effectively?

I had a similar issue with my cargraphic (since replaced). You will probably need to have some sensors turned off (if post cat) to cure it. Might not be bad sensors at all.

That's good news...I'll keep you posted as I'm going to be working with cobb custom tune in comming weeks...
