Can some of the big hp cars tell me what tranny oil they use would be interested in knowing if your using Mobil oem... Or have you converted to something aftermarket

Stick to Delvac 75W90 that Suncoast sells and some others.

Can any of these owners chime in with their feedback? I think Prodigy and I are looking for drivers that can shed some of their own personal experience and exact configuration...

Tilton cera-metallic multi plate disk, carbon disk, ERP, etc.

Transmission fluid

Hard launches / driving style (do they rev match or down shift and let the engine brake)

Do they do road races and have they needed a trans cooler

EvoMs and Proto built many ( stock tranny ) 997tt's. Just do your home work and you will find some of them over here.

ERP: just stay away. That clutch will never ever stop updating. Many unhappy members

Most of cars above are street and drag racing

I am actually using an ERP in my car and it works flawless. Also I am planning on using the new ERP when it comes out next month completely redesigned.

Let me save you the effort, time, and internal anguish, and tell you what you want to hear. You need the Trans. Buy it. We both know it's going to happen.

The only info that I can really provide here is that I was a long time supra driver.., stroked 3.4 ...t 78 turbo ... V160 tranny.. Know must of us know that was a bomb prof car and I drove it in a way that proved to be reliable to me... I would think that tranny reliability has come a long way but the One thing I learned was never drive the car when I was in a bad mood or really pissed off... Every time I drive in anger I would break something... Now there might not be any valuable info here but these 997 trannys are robust.. But the end result is that you can crack forged titanium if you try hard enough...
My bull**** is done...btw my supra was running over 1000...
