Front Lip Options?

Bought one of the eBay ones and thought it was pretty good quality for the price! I sanded, PAP(adhesion promoter), primed, sanded, degreaser, 2 coats Basalt Black Metallic, 3 coats clear...polished (all took a couple hours with lots of it just waiting for paint to dry)...Thought it came out very good.
If it has any slight warping or mis-shaping (as most any kind of flexible part will) you simply hit it with a heat gun and if forms perfectly.
Good luck!

Haha!.... I am sure you could do it if you tried. I seem to be just dumb enough to try a lot of different things...And too cheap sometimes to pay someone else!....

I would wait a week or two. They must be out of stock again because the price has doubled. It will drop one they get supply back in stock. I would stay away from oemdistributors they ship in a box that is too small and bend one side over. A heat gun will straighten it but I read others who did not have that problem.

Yes...As indicated above they must be low or out of stock. When this happens they jack the price to slow/stop purchases, and then lower again to $199 when they get more stock.
Looks like waiting a bit is the best option at the moment. Then search on eBay for "997 Turbo tech lip" and you will find them.
Good luck!

Never mind this post, just seen the curve in the front. You would need to change the bumper cover for another $1200. Gets costly real quick!

Looks great...but you better buy some spares since the first time you hit something the CF or FG will really take a beating.
