Does anyone know this car... Also it says had titanium exhaust installed by dealer... But since had experienced "limp" mode... Dealer says they performed O2 sensor delete... But car may show check engine.... Duh... Anyone also concerned??

Also, where did you find the info on the exhaust, etc.? According to their website they will CPO this GT2.

The salesman said the exhaust and headers were "upgraded" or replace 6 months ago...

Champion inter coolers
Clear bra
Gmc(brand?) headers
Titanium exhaust
And stock gt2 turbo
All replaced 6 months ago...
Hmmm any flag why was stock turbo replaced... Bearing failures? Are these known for turbo failures??

Thanks! So interesting gmg publishes that they don't produce a "CEL" failure.... Wondering is the O2 sensor affected then by the titanium exhausts??

Smart move! The price is very low as we are seeing 997 GT2s go up in value. Two local 997 GT2s are asking $189 and $229 (6k miles 300 miles). Both are stock.

 

sorry a bit late - i have seen that car locally in houston - it seemed to sound/run fine the two times i had seen it and overall exterior wise was in top shape at the one event i saw it parked at - can't comment on it otherwise.

 

Sounds like Penske should just buy that car from Momentum Porsche and mark it up then

Interested to see what those GT2's sell for on Penske's lot. I could never get them down to a reasonable price on any car I was looking at. That said, the people there were very nice to deal with, just never was able to find the right car for the right price. Got pretty close on one, but ended up having to get mine out of state. They wouldn't even budge on MSRP on a new M4 when there are dealers selling them for 5% under sticker nationwide, so it looks this addition will also be out of state.

Thankfully their service guys over there are excellent that I've dealt with, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy a car there assuming the price was reasonable. I assume they just have a lot of buyers in this region who could care less about a $10k difference in price. Unfortunately, I'm not one of those people.

 

Good GT2’s are getting hard to come by.
