Front DRL - are they reliable ?
SO - i have checked the few threads on LED front DRL's, and there has been no activity for a year or more..
My question is - which vendors are reliable over time ?

My passenger-side light doesn't seem to be sealed properly as recently when washing the car I noticed it was susceptible to getting moisture on the inside, however the bulbs are still going strong after a year and a half.

As others have indicated. They seem OK overall. AP has some, but I think they are all made in China from the same mfr.. Got no proof, just looked at enough of them and they all look alike with same components.
Issues some have had is flicker, CEL (if bad module), and they are not well made for $1000. There are a number of them that do separate and start to leak. Easy fix is to clean up and re-seal with black caulk. Seems to be a good permanent fix..though a bit of a PIA

The flickering issue is a bit annoying but at least they look awesome when they are working normally (which is most of the time). I do have a replacement control module but no motivation to take the bumper and everything off again, lol.

I see someone mentioning $1000 cost.
Are these the same, only $300 :

For that amount I am willing to give them a try ...

Just had a failure on mine after about four months where the drivers side would stop blinking orange on a turn signal after the car warmed up. Most likely a bad control module but haven't had time (or motivation) to swap it out. Used an ebay vendor.
Also, agree that these are all probably made by the same company in China...at least the ones I've seen from US vendors all use the same wiring diagram as instructions.

Took mine out. The passenger side decided to shut off randomly in addition to the driver side flickering. Waste of $600 (price 18 months ago) and I thought it was a deal given they were originally $1000. Should have known not to buy them given they were on end of sale clearance at Vivid/AP.
Waste of time taking the bumper off to tweak the lights when something goes wrong. Enough is enough.

But at least the flickering is like a Christmas tree and hey it is December.
But no kidding though. I still get flickering from one of them occasionally but I just can't be bothered taking the bumper off again.

I love the look of these and had considered them for awhile but don't want the headache associated with them.
