update - 11/5:

I received my slave cylinder from BBI and am trying to determine the best clutch set-up currently. I hope to make a decision and install everything by year end.

In the meantime - i picked up a Blackvue dash camera and hope to have that installed next weekend. This should provide a bit of piece of mind and security as well.

I also installed a GT3 shift boot/****.

I have some new floor mats coming tomorrow and a steering wheel from DCTMS so the interior should all match nicely once that is completed and installed.

Nice project progression........what exhaust did you change from? What's the application for the dash cam....theft concerns?

Thanks!

I had OEM with Fabspeed tips and swapped to the full BBI exhaust.

I'm more concerned with the **** that happens around me - i have seen people do stuff directly in front of me and it seems like it is in an effort to have me hit them.. i mean some really crazy stuff. I want to have documentation in the event something happens so it isn't my word vs. theirs. I had a guy do a U-turn from the right lane in front of me about a year ago and i hit him (in my other car). The guy lied and made up some story - ultimately the cops finally sided with me, however it was a drawn out process and had i had some video, it wouldn't have been an issue. I don't park my car in unsecured spaces often, but this has a feature that will record while it is parked as well for the times that i do that...

Basically the camera provides me with a little piece of mind i guess. Seems like cheap insurance.

Few pics of my new track set-up - 19" OZ Superforgiato's - they are incredibly lightweight and the difference in acceleration is quite noticeable.

Here are the installed dash cam pics. I really like the mount and the fact that it is pretty inconspicuous.

It's a blackvue 2 channel version. The clarity on the camera is really pretty amazing.

I've considered moving the rear slightly to the side of the writing on the glass, but it doesn't affect the view of the road or cars behind so not sure, i like it centered.

Not bad but why didn't you go for a 997/2 steering wheel ?

I enjoy my multifunction controls and this was plug and play with no issues...

I do like the 997.2 and the circle airbags are nice - but this set-up works for me.
