This morning AT was 12°C, traction contrôle lighted on end 3rd on the road (dry..) and I shot 2 runs to 300.
Boost peak was 1,65Bar during the 100-300 test (4rth+5th+6th) gear and 1,62 during the 100-250 test (3rd + 4th + 5th).
I guess the power is not far 1000hp?

Thank you buddies,

I'm overall surprised achieving those times with this boost, but very glad as I don't want to raise more.
The car reaches 300 as a bullet, I did 2 shoots from 80 and the tacho showed 321 and 327 in a few seconds! (313.8 and 318.5 vbox, nobody saw me, the road was desert, no wind, perfect conditions)
The low temps which are coming will probably help me again but the traction becomes the issue. (MPSC2)

I run oem GT3RS (3.8) head gaskets and Supertec/Protomotive headstuds, without inserts but I tapped longer the case.

I don't think so, I didn't had to mod the cylinders cases, but their threads are thinner vs oem, new head nuts are delivered with the studs.

Did they need to be torqued up again?

if they go into the oem head stud holes in the cases they have to be the same thread pitch or they would cross thread upon installation

From supertec website.

"The polished studs have rolled threads; the case end is slightly longer, permitting it to thread deeper into the case, and the head end is fine threaded for smoother and more consistent torque."

case end is a blind hole stud can only go in until it bottoms out. whats the torque on these studs? 70 ft/lbs?

I tapped a bit more with a flat end tapper the case, I don't remember the torque but it was given from Supertec.

They did not told about retorquing but we did it "till we were here" when bolting the upgraded cams a few months later, no way to know if the studs were "detorqued" because we detorque them before retorquing to avoid the sticky effect to impact the torque value.
(Did it as well on my 993 last month in a service)

I tried a little more boost this morning, AT was 10°C, I raised to 1,65Bar target boost and reached 1,69 when let the throttle end five.
Times didn't improved really, still 4,0' 100-200 at the vbox and 4,6' 60-130 (96-209), nevertheless the 100-250 went to 7,5'...
At driving I can feel the little extra power.
I don't believe I will raise more, reasons:
-while upgraded I only run 10mm studs
-the times will truly improve with far more boost, risky game.
-on open road the car feels already "bigger than the road can hold".

Bests,
P.

8°C 1,65Bar, can't break the 4' at 100-200!
And little spinning in 4rth with the MPSC2, frightening...

Here are the 100-200, 60-130 and 100-150 (sorry bad pic)
