Anyone Run S-04's on their 997TT's?
I have these on my S4 and i love them. They come in 997 sizes and are the direct competitor to the PSS falling a tiny bit short in a few areas....
Anyone run these?

I do,.. but can't compare them to anything else except the horrible P-Zeros my car came with.
According to the expert at Tire Rack,.. they come in a close third behind the Pilot SS,.. and the aging (and much more expensive) Pilot PS2.
But the rears for both of those were out of stock last Summer when I got my car,.... so SO4's it was.

Never tried them on my Porsche but used to run them on my Cadillac CTS-V...street and a few track days. Thought they were very predictable on the track and handled well in the Seattle rain.

Never had anything else on my car, but have been quite happy with them, without being able to compare directly. Fronts came on car and were unknown, and rears have about 6k on em and still look like plenty of meat left, so that's pretty decent for a 280 tire the way I drive

Great tire. I have a set on my stock wheels right now, the car was just a *little* loose at ~700whp.
I still like the Super Sport better, but the S-04 Pole Position wins hands down in the bang for the buck section. I also felt like it had sharper turn in, and was a little more nimble.
Pros vs. MPSS
Cheaper (a lot cheaper)
Available (you can actually buy them)
Slightly stiffer? Felt like turn in was sharper.
Cons vs MPSS
Heavier tire
More noise
Slightly less grip
Wouldn't hesitate or feel bad to put these on your car. If the price matters (sometimes it doesn't) it's overall a better deal. I just wouldn't say it's overall a better tire, but they are pretty darn close.

Changed from the factory Bridgestone re056.....did a trip out to West Texas @2300 mile trip....high speed and cornering tracks.........ran great road noise not an issue work great in rain, cool mornings and hot afternoons....great bang for the buck.....also stopped at the Bridgestone proving ground out there.........spoke to engineers got a lot of great info from them.....would buy again and plan to put them on the 964T.

Hard to tell....But on my drive home yesterday (~40 miles) when i would made any type of sudden maneuver it felt as if the car was riding on a big marshmallow.

That was the first set that I had on the car, so so tire, went to the R11's which was a good improvement and currently have the Cup 2's...will be fitting some R888 with Forgeline wheels before the Georgia 1/2 in Sept...I have too much wheel spin with the Cup 2's, hoping the R888 fix the issue.
My two cents,
Manuel
