Awesome car. Does the lower compression of the 997 pistons allow it to make more power on 93 octane over a 996 with its higher compression? I know the 997 has better heads also.

Have additional progress to report. Managed to upgrade several things.

First, PCCB upgrade to be able to stop the beast. Note for people who are planning to perform similar upgrade; you will need to program ABS for PCCB option. Porsche dealership charged for 1 hour of work.

Second, decided to put a set of black Recaro seats for comfort and looks. Even though the interior is red, the carbon elements make it look great IMO. Recaro adaptors for these seats where a pain in the ***

Finally, RSS clutch stop made a world of a difference. It was a drastic change, which improved driving experience by a large margin.

Nice. All those NHRA rules are outdated BS. A 69 Chevelle running 11's is 10X more dangerous than a Porsche running 9's.

grats! im gonna head back in 2 weeks. Gonna make 1/8th mi pulls into I can get it to not spin too bad. if I think its a 1.9 60ft or better, im staying in it.
