CEL Light

Had my CEL light come on momentarily the other day when on full throttle, hasn't been back on since. Car is remapped with Kline 100HJS cats and has lambda extenders. Is this a concern?

Hi Alan! Were you able to extract the code? Could have been a misfire or something. Let me know if I can help and feel free to reach out.

Good shout, was a misfire in 1 of the cylinders. Coil and sparks were changed a year ago. Car is running fine from what I can tell and no cel light since. Thanks

Went for a hard drive tonight, light came on again and car started running lumpy when in kick down. Fine in normally driving. Looks like another expense, coils and sparks to be changed, just surprised they can go that soon the plugs have done 6k miles and it's been a year.

Last month it was the turbo actuator rod, would it be still be a boost leak if it is boosting to the correct levels? Taking to garage next week.

Yes. The turbos will over spin to meet the boost request. Boost leak test the car.

Problem was caused by previous owner adding crappy aftermarket coils and spark plugs. Now all sorted! Have also added Kline catless pipes, car now sounds amazing at all speeds. Selling my 100CEL HJS cats
