I'm running meth in my car with a tune for it.

Mix is 50/50 by weight.

Enjoy!

I'm running the HSF-3 system with two 1.0mm nozzles,... and 75% / 25% by volume.

Aside from the ability to custom tune for meth injection for maximum gains, i can also plug and play and use completely independently with my existing setup? And is it really as simple as plug and play?

I really want the ability to run some sort of alcohol, but we don't have E85 readily available in Hawaii and buying in 55gal drums is not sustainable.

It is NOT plug and play. Plumbing, wiring and lots of adjusting to do to get it to run correctly. You DEFINITELY want to make sure there's an expert in the area. It was a steep learning curve,.. and the manual leaves a lot to be desired.

BUT,.. after that's done,.. you end up with a car that runs all year on pump gas,.. and makes close to E85 power.

My car was tuned by Dzenno on here (Pro Tuning Freaks),.. and based on the MAF grams it's pulling,... he figures it's within about 25 hp of the similar E85 cars he's tuned. (and the E85 stock turbo cars with larger inter-coolers, injectors, plenum, exhaust, turbo inlet tubes make about 650 wheel on a Dynojet).

EDIT. had the car re-tuned by Sambo in Summer of 2017,... runs WAAYYYYY better.

I don't get a lot of opportunity to drive my car,... but it seems I am using about 1 gallon of VP Methanol per 300 miles of city driving. And that runs $3 - $6 a gallon.

You can try contact George Nitta (Nitta's Auto Repair). His shop has moved to another location now, but I believe he may still be carrying E100 on the side for sale. I was running an E30 mixture from him when I still had my Supercharged C2S.

Very interested in doing meth (I have been talking about it for a bit) with Dzenno.

What 60-130 times are you running?

Dzenno said with my set up, he can get me to my Proto's E85 numbers 60-130!

Just the thought of the freedom of not being chained to a drum and have the same numbers seams almost like a dream, so I was wondering what times you might be running with stock turbos.

I don't know yet. No one in town seems to have a VBox,.. and no one here would lend me one.

I bought the Sport version with the higher resolution the other day, but haven't had time to play with it yet.

I'll post back here in a few days when I have some time.

EDIT. DId a test today to make sure I was using the VBox properly.

Seems my GMC Acadia does 0-60 in 7.9sec and 0-80 in 13.6 with a bunch of lumber and cement board in the back.

I use 100% meth for IAT cooling and octane supplement (pump 91 here in SoCal). On a 100+ degree track day with meth and the Champion intercoolers my IATs stay ambient for a 25 minute track session. The intercoolers alone are great but can't do it alone. Meth is fantastic if set up properly. I use a coolingmist controller (fits perfectly in the Sport/Chrono pod) and I run a 3 gallon fuel cell with the bladder and steel braided lines and aircraft grade fittings.

Thanks mate.

Where do you run the jets near the inter cooler or near the TB?

What size jets are you running?

Hey Nick!

The ends of the IPD Y pipe were tapped. On the bottom side so the steel braided meth lines aren't visible when you open the engine lid. Stealth install

Yes exactly the intercooler end.

Not exactly sure of the jets...I think dual 600cc. I don't run it at full capacity. It loses a little power with too much meth so I typically run 70-75% of max flow which is adjustable with the Coolingmist controller.

Thanks for that. Do you know any meth injection specialists on the island?
