My New 2011 Porsche 911 Turbo 6 Speed and GT3
#16
I looked for about 6-7 months and most of the cars I found were 2007-2009 Turbos - 6 Speed, but I couldn't really find one in the color I wanted with lower miles. I came close to buying a couple of 997.1 Turbos for less money, but then I found this 2011 997.2 at a Porsche dealership in Colorado. I was a little worried about buying the car without looking at it first. It only had 7,500 Miles and Porsche CPO warranty so I bought it. I think I paid a little over market price for this car, but I wasn't sure how long it would take, or if I would ever be able to find another Turbo that I liked this much again.
I've hard the car for about 3 months now, and I enjoy it every time I drive it, wash it, look at it, etc.

I appreciate it! Yea, it's cold and raining in Dallas today, but I'll definitely post some pictures of my 2 cars together when the sun comes out.

Lots of snow here so I won't be driving for a while.
Congrats, I also lucked into a 997.2 (2010) white 6 speed TT coupe late last summer!

Wow your car looks great! I love the brakes and your seats. Do you ever take your car to the track?

Would love a couple paragraphs about the GT3 vs the Turbo. GT3 guys usually put down the Turbo and talk about how much better the GT3 is. So I'd be fascinated to hear from someone who owns both

Yeah I think it's a pretty rare combo - 2010 Aerokit TT Carrara white coupe with 6 spd, PCCB and LWB seats (currently about 29,000 km or 18,000 miles on it).
Nope I haven't taken it to a track yet (as nearest road course one is about a 4 hour drive from where I live) but my local Porsche club does schedule some track days at that or other further away drive to locations.
