Clutch Upgrade Question

I just had my 4 year maintenance done by a Porsche mechanic (not dealer). I was discussing racing clutches and said I had read of the issues with them. The guy who owns the shop says his advice is to use the stock clutch and upgrade the pressure plate. Has anyone heard of this option or done this? I don't intend to go crazy on the HP increase. I will likely just use the FVD ECU upgrade and that's it with my current setup.

The Sachs race Engineering kit is great. Built for your car and drives like factory. All components are up-rated to Sachs spec to work together ad hold up to 800hp! Let me know if I can help you out.
