To sell or not to sell-09 997.1 TURBO 6MT
I have my name on a list for the 991.2 GT3 and if the opportunity does come my way , the issue I have is do I sell me 2009 997.1 turbo with only 19,000 miles on it with Champion RS98 wheels , bilstein damptronics, GIAC tune , Europipe exhaust, AWE intercoolers , DSC module and Sachs clutch ? Car is in pristine condition and artic silver with black interior with sport chrono and sport seats. Help as decision will be tough only due to fact of having two cars as weekend and odd HPDE events . The cars value and driving experience is the last of the true visceral cars that Porsche has made . Any opinions and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Beautiful car, I'de keep both if I could afford it and have proper storage for both. Is the new Gt3 a manual?
I drove a 991.1 gt3, and while its a beast on track and oh that 9K redline song is so nice, I always longed for the tourque and sheer "beasty-ness" of my turbo.
If you decude to sell the turbo, keep in mind you wont find another one this nice/clean ...
Good luck

If you do end up selling it, you can command around $90K for it:

Why don't you custom Cobb tune...add some front rear bumpers rear wing.maybe a better turbo....everyone that I ever knew regrets getting rid of big hp cars....then again I was in a 997.2 gt3 last year and boy did that motor sound good....my opinion is you always want what you don't have...

Not really a fan of the 996 looks wise and to me the 997 is the last of the traditional porsches that have looks , power, driving feel along with the analogue and yet still reliable .
