The replacement jack point finally arrived from Germany this week, and I should have it installed next Tuesday, after which the mods will continue on pace. With some luck I'll have exhaust dyno by end of next week, and then the modified turbos + headers dyno a couple weeks after.

The jack mount point is finally installed, and Sharky's going to install the exhaust on Weds or Thurs if all goes to plan. After that... dyno + SPL measurements, Protomotive turbo + EMS headers install, REdyno, and then... track day!

The turbos are getting Todd's special treatment; he said something about machining housings or some other technical mumbo-jumbo which I didn't follow. Then he said "560-580 AWHP" and showed me the dyno graph, and told me how little it cost, and I asked him whether I should use FedEX or UPS

So net net - +60-70 WHP, no change in lag, and cheap. Drop Todd a line and I'm sure he'll explain.

Hah. There's a curiously high concentration of US highway signs in Mexico these days... or so I hear

There also seem to be a curiously high concentration of California Highway Patrol units in Mexico. Perhaps that's why...

Maybe you were never invited to the "Treynor meets" that RedC5 used to organize Besides, one domestic Vette is enough for one night's sillyness.... He wanted all the glory to himself. How else was he going "to NAWZ".

I remember the good old days of Krispy Kreme, Z0Sik and his Viper, those horrid Supras

The pix don't do the car justice. With those wheels and that color and finish it's a couple of steps up from "hot". And they're light too
