KA997TT,

Our headers retail for $ 1,688.00. Here are the details...

Through countless hours of research and development, FVD has found the ideal performance header combination. FVD headers reduce exhaust backpressure and temperature without sacrificing velocity to ensure optimal turbocharger boost. Our headers feature a 42 mm primary tube that empties into a 50 mm (id) collector. Too large a diameter on the primary will effectively reduce back pressure and exhaust temperature, but consequently lower the exhaust gas velocity and reduce performance. Bigger is not always better! FVD headers provide maximum flow, optimal cooling and maximize your perfromance. All FVD headers are mandrel bent with a pyramid style merge collector that extends to the flange for smooth, laminar exhaust flow and are manufactured from the highest quality T-316 stainless steel and produce dyno proven horsepower and torque!

+ 15 lb. ft of torque, + 12 hp

Weigh 's 11lbs.

PM also sent.

Thanks,
Rhonda

Sleepys4,

Thanks! If you are interested I would be willing to give you a guarantee. If you have drone or resonance with the sound version with 200 cell cat's in your cab I will take it back no questions asked.

Thanks,
Rhonda

I had to post up another time in favor of FVD...all I can say is that the more I drive this car the more insane it gets. I don't know what kind of magic mojo they have going there but it's down right crazy.

I honestly don't think there's a car on the road that can compare. I'm not just talking about the sound...the car taunts me to drive insanely...it's so different from stock. A stock car feels insulting compared...like Porsche truly believes we don't have the guts to receive a car like this.

I have driven other cars with other exhausts...there is just something different with FVD (let's also give some credit to GIAC)...the car is indescribable....and anyone who rides near me has a look on their face afterwards of shock...seriously...people go nuts for the sounds of this thing...

You would be out of your mind if you are on the fence and can afford to do this upgrade and don't do it...I feel like Rhonda should send someone to your house to slap you to wake you up...I wish they did that to me 2 years ago!

Beautiful. How much do the stock manifolds weigh? Do you have a picture of them installed on a car? I am trying to see how much they hang lower than stock, I like to keep everything tucked in.

Dude...do it...they are amazing.

But I'll see if I can snap a pic...the one on the right (looking from the back of the car) tucks up nicely but the one on the left for some reason hangs down a little...but no one can see it and I've never scraped it...

Make sure the factory keep pumping these exhaust out. Two mods I KNOW I will eventually get around to
1) wheels. Still on the hunt
2) exhaust. Decision made. FVD/Brombacher 200 cell sport. No question. By far the best sounding one I've heard. Just need to find the funds (and hoping there will be a HUGE discount coming in the future)

Bonehead,

We have a large shipment of these systems coming in Monday the 14th. I am currently out of stock so we will have plenty available for you when your ready. By the way are you currently running software? If you like the deal on the sound version, just wait for our next offer with software included...

Our software is currently being Beta tested and will be based on our current flashclient cable so you can do it directly on any window's based PC/Laptop. We won't release it though until it is completely bulletproof for home use...

The FVD exhaust is phenominal. The quality and fitment are excellent. Zero, and I mean ZERO drone or resonance. This was the easiest exhaust install I've ever done on a 911, based on the exacting design. M&M, who makes these with FVD, does all the Porsche motorsports RSR stuff and it shows.
I would have to say that the FVD is currently the best European system on the market for a 997TT coupe.

The latest one they have out, the sound version 200 cell cats I guess. At first I thought it might be too loud, but upon checking my install I hadn't tightened one of the clamps all the way in my rush to install it, one turn of the wrist and all was fine.

Any new developments or changes coming up with the 200 cell sound version mufflers or any new 'deals'/promotions??? I believe TT Surgeon alluded to some new tips????
Everytime I listen to my anemic stock exhaust, I yearn for FVD
