DRLs for 997.1 TT any news?
A while back there were a few tuners who were converting the front blinkers to DRLs. As far as i remember there were some issues with them. Some others posted that they just ordered the LEDs and did them in their garage. Speedart is the only tuner which i know doing this modd but i remember the cost was ridiculous. Also there was a delay between orange and white light when using indicators.
Anyone who has them ? Where from? Cost?

Hoen is working on a 997.2 LED lamp DRL / foglight retrofit for the 997.1 using OEM parts. While admirable I think a better looking alternative is using white LEDs on the oem 'blade' vs. the yellow turn signals that Vivid has, however it triggers a fault code. If they can fix that it would be awesome as that retains a yellow turn signal via a bulb swap of the stock city light to amber.

I am also anxiously waiting on any new development. I would be perfectly happy if they were able to take 997.1 turbo OEM fog light housing and embed many bright forward facing LED along with small resistor to thwart error code which mates to factory wiring harness.

I have an LED conversion as GMoney states. It worked, just through a warning light on the dash. So if you dont care about seeing a ! then you can order now. Otherwise we are working on different resistors to correct this.

You would put them on if they were FREE LOL. That is why we are trying to sort it out.
They do look good though

All that needs to be installed is the right resistor. The bulb out message is nothing more than an annoyance. Hoen is sending me a pair for my "city lights" that should not trigger a warning light. I am doing this because I already upgraded my HID low beams to Garax 6000k and want the fogs/city lights to match as close as possible. The color temp of the OEM light bulbs are in the vicinity of 4300k and I prefer a bulb with a cleaner brighter white look to it. I already posted another thread regarding the use of HID fogs.

Any news on the DRL's??? How can they build LED tail lights that work but cannot do this on front lights?
The only company that succeded on the conversion is Speedart but they are crasy overpriced.
Anyone who solved this?
