100 octane between San Francisco and Seattle?

I'm headed to Seattle next week and hope to find gas stations or places along the way where I can get 100 octane fuel to mix with the 91 that I assume will find. Performance shops selling VP fuels will work if they're not far off Route 5 to Seattle. I'm covered from SF since I have some 100 on hand here. I'll likely bring a 5 gal can of 100 when I leave.

Does anyone know of gas stations or performance shops that will fit my general route?

My EVT 700 is tuned for 93/95. I can get away with 91 if I don't accelerate too hard, but, you know how it goes with these cars...

Thanks in advance.

Is this a math test?

Fill-up in Willows at Thunderhill with 100 Octane. That leaves you about 600 miles to Seattle.

Fill up every 115 miles with 91 Pump gas. After three such fill-ups, you will have a full tank of 93 Octane, with enough range left to get you to Seattle.

I assumed 20 MPG and 14.7 Gal tank in my calcs.

If OR or WA have 93 Octane at pump, then you might only need one "early gas break" to get you to the promised land.

You're on your own on the way back. ;-)

There is a gas station in Auburn, WA that has 101 octane, probably a good place to go when you start heading back down.

Doug's Auto Row - 76 Station
1725 Auburn Way N
Auburn, WA

Give Cantrell motorsports a call. I was told that they were going to start stocking 101 octane. He's in Kirkland, so it might be closer to where you will be.

I know that the NW section is planning a big run next week. Check that section on the forum.

I'm not all that trusting of octane boost as many don't do too much and some, I read, even can retard performance.

Having said that, I just ordered some Torco "Mach Accelerator" racing fuel concentrate. Does anyone have experience with this product?

There's actually a gas station in Coburg, Oregon (JUST north of Eugene right off I-5) that is rumored to have 100+ octane fuel. It's a very very small town so finding the station shouldn't be hard. I'm sorry I don't know exactly which one it is =\

That's a great resource Nick. A web page for the ages (at least until were going electric). Thanks!

Thanks KPX! I may be in need by that time. Don't know if it's on Nick's map link

Thanks to everyone else for their input!

bluesea, it is on his map. It's the Fuel-N-Go right off I-5 in Coburg.

If anyone finds any more locations let me know. I started the map because I was looking for Race Gas in the tri-state area but kept on adding more and more locations as people chimed in.

For those who are not near one of the listed Gas stations there are some on-line suppliers who will ship 5 gal - 55 gal drums, although the shipping is a killer on the large drums unless you are into a big order.

Nick, are you looking to list performance shops selling race fuel as well? Like Gotelli's in So. San Fran.?

Btw, you can add Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, CA.
