The tax in Switzerland are 7.6% TVA plus 4% import tax and some modification to adapt the car to Switzerland.

FX, my friend. I consolidate the numbers for a big Swiss Pharma company. Still remember when it was 1.24 CHF to the dollar. Now it's close to parity.

Hey - while the *new* prices may be expensive in CH, can't you get a good deal on a used one ? I see like a ton of high end cars every time I go Zurich and Basel ?

You have very nice used car in very good conditions, but still expensive. Now it is very attractive to buy cars in the US.
