At What Speed does the Rear Wing Move?
At what speed does the rear wing raise? Lower?
If I raise it with the button does it stay up regardless of speed? Will I have to lower it manually?
Can you guys see you rear wing from the driver's seat?
Thanks

I believe it raises automatically at around 75 mph, and lowers automatically at around 57mph. You can't see it in rear view mirror. I think it would have been cool if it were designed to turn on the light in the manual switch when deployed automatically, so that you would know when it was up.

I thought I read somewhere that it also will rise if the engine compartment reaches some certain temp...............
If I have driven it hard, I try to make the last 5 miles or so back to the house with the wing up and then leave it up in the garage to cool.

It rises on the 964 at those speeds, I am not sure about the 993, but the 996 and 997 are 120Km/h.

I thought that was just the Carrera GT.

I remember on the 993 the wing raises once the car hits 50mph and doesn't retract until the car comes to a complete stop. You can, like all the new 911s raise the rear wing manually, at which point it will stay locked out until you lower it.
