hmmmmm

I know its just a cough but not sure I agree with the, gargle poser cough..... You concluded with a nice comment, so I believe it was in jest....

Just my thoughts...
That said...people add new style porsche wheels (have seen 996's - 993's even Boxters with 997 wheels) and mix parts (withen reason) all the time. Don't believe they are trying to fool anyone into believing their car is anything then a modded car (unique, not bland stock)....When one starts adding an S badge to a none S car or a GT3 emblem to a none GT3 then I would call them out. To earn the True Poser Title (thats one of the nastiest lables in the car modding world....) I believe one needs to clearly cross the line IMO. Here, for example it is clear his car is modded (and done very well) so any poser like comments I think are way off..... that said I believe I understand where your coming from on some cars.... A "Poser" lable is an a potent dig....

Keep modding..... looks great.

Nice job
can you explain how adding a GT3 wing (aero wing) to a 997 makes the owner a poser?

the aero package is an option when specing out a 997.

jeeez you guys are sensitive....

I just like the lines of the 997 sans wing. It's a beautiful shape and adding the wing draws the eye to the rear of the car where it is already a little ponderous.

factory mod or not -- the whole point of the "aero" kit is to make it look like a GT3.... similar to the M Sport kit on Beemers.

Besides - the 997 has a retractable wing anyways. That aero kit really is only making a difference at 80+ mph -- so really in the real world (at real world speeds ) it's a non-functional cosmetic mod/dust collector.

Thanks a lot guys for your nice comments

Dr J, I don't think adding a factory aerokit will make me a poser. Like DaytonaViolet said, it's an optional for our 997 cars. Anyway, to each his own, I respect your opinion.

Regards, Lou.
