Very nice looking car, and I love the green. I can't blame you for driving the dog sh** out of it.

I saw a 997 last week in Danville. It was that green (I believe) but had red calipers and a black interior. It didn't look right to me, and it was not well cared for. It needed the tan interior and yellow calipers.

However your wheels offset the red calipers nicely.

Yours is stunning.

Hey Gcalo, seriously thanks for that! If it had black calipers it was probably a non S since that's what comes on those cars. Been playing with it and will try and bring it by the Row...

It had red calipers but with 18" stock rims. Was a fairly new car but windows were very dirty inside from dogs, and rims were messed up already!

No where near as good looking as yours.

Why not bring it to EuroSunday in Blackhawk on Oct 19?

Hello Killa_Por (from England I see), I think this is going to shock some of you but I'm going to go out on a limb here and say I think stock vs stock in a straight line this car is certainly not any slower than a 997GT3. The secret is the gearing as well as the shifting and it also has more torque than the GT3. It's very snappy, responsive and instant with the DI as well.

Glad to hear, I was considering either a 997 gt3 or a MKII 6-speed. Looks like its a no brainer.

cheers.

Well honestly though I wouldn't look at it that way they're very much like chalk and cheese. Very very diferent. The 3's engine is quick revving, higher-revving, the suspension is much firmer and more complete, the MKII S is more comfortable and more of a glimpse into the future of Porsche.... I think I still find the GT3 (or in our case the RS) more "fun" to drive because it's a lot more involving if that makes sense?

It does in PDK form and with DI yes. Hopefully that wasn't the wrong answer for you
