Tips for Cargraphic Exhaust System?

Just got my cargraphic exhaust (purchased from friend's friend) installed and found out after the fact that the stock 997 tips won't fit on it.

Will AWE fit? I love their black tips! Just need to know whether they'll fit. Or, can I just buy any aftermarket tips and screw them on?

tia,
Jay

MichaelL will become famous soon enough
If the inside diameter of the tip is greater than the outside diameter of the pipe, a short length of suitably sized steel tubing can be slotted and used as a shim. even if the bolts holding the tip on can be well tightened, it might be a good idea to have everything tack welded together.

can someone suggest tips that would fit without welding?

i'd just like to buy something, preferably something second-hand, off someone.

Jay

It sounds like you got the "S" mufflers. All you need are some factory "S" tips or any aftermarket tips that fit an "S". You can also order the non "S" stepdown pipes to fit your factory tips.

Mark,

Thanks for the heads up. Are you sure I got "S" mufflers? I'm not sure what you mean but I'm guessing you're saying the diameter is the same as the muff sys on the "S" so thus the factory "S" tips will work.

Would love to get the AWE black tips. $500? forget it.

I want to SC my car!! no money.
