The car is going into the shop tomorrow for installation
of the new BORLA headers and exhaust.

BTW, did anyone see the excellent Porsche coverage in this weeks edition

Borla finally came out with a full exhaust system (headers, cats and mufflers) for the 997?

You will now have to get Scott at Softronics to send you a new ECU flash.

 

I think I have the first Borla install in the US.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure Scott will say that the ECU will "learn" on its own.

There finally out!!! I ordered in June when Borla told me they're like only 2 weeks out from getting it in my hands but I had to cancel when there was no product after 2 months. Wow, Finally out after 6 or so months. Post a soundclip after you install it!

I'd love to see install pictures of their 'virtual' exhaust system for the 997S. I tried well over a year ago to get one of their 'vaporware' system and after months of . . it's in development, pre-production, etc. I finally went w/ a PSE.

It may have been one of the pre-production pieces. I had my system since late 2006.
