Those sound fabulous- I like!!!! I think though, some of that good extra sound is due to the redesigned 997.2 motor, I don't recall the speedart mufflers sounding like that on 997.1 or 996. Awesome of Speedart to come out with such a bad-azz exhaust for the new 997.2!! any idea how much they weigh?
I swear they sound almost same as my AH, but my AH are just a tad lower in pitch than the speedart.

Great video and great sound! Here are a couple questions:
1. The video clip showed both the new Secondary(Side) mufflers and a Primary muffler Bypass(X-Pipe). Were the video and sound produced using both mods or just the Side mufflers?
2. How is the Sport(Loud) and the Normal(Quiet) sound function of the mufflers activated? Is it like a switch similar to PSE or is it set-up upon installation?
3. Has this been run on a DYNO and what are the HP/TORQUE gains over stock?
4. And to echo a previous post, what is the approximate price and availability?
this is no advert, i just want to keep everybody updated because some parts have changed in their construction and i think before the big confusion comes i better inform you about several news.
For all exhausts (Version 2, Version 3, Version 4 and Version 5) we provide Export- or EU-Sounds (except Version 1 - speedART pre-muffler only). The export sound is the maximum in noise.
The side mufflers (Version 2, Version 3, Version 4 and Version 5) are directly connected to the OE catalysts and we loose 6 kg because the original pre-muffler (x-pipe) is no longer present. So it is weight reduced and because of this construction we are able to reach the export sound version also for the sound switch exhaust. (Best sound i have ever heard at a 997 Carrera).
Further we have the Powerkit ready inclusive the ECU-update and the airfilters are available now. They are in the OE size so you can fit them in original position. The powerkit at the 997 Carrera 2S brings it to 420hp an 440Nm of torque without airfilter. (Dyno sheet attached).
The exhaust itself has not been on the dyno till yet but it will be something about 10hp more than stock.
The pre-muffler itself has also not been on the dyno till yet. This increase should be something about 5hp. This version is for a little bit more sound (also suitable for original exhaust systems with sound control). Weight reduction about 2kg compared to OE pre-muffler (X-Pipe).
The sound can be controled by a seperate button or "Sport"-button (requires Sport-Chrono (plus) package).
Also something new is that you can keep your OE tailpipes at the Version 2 and Version 4.
Latest news are that the speedART pre-muffler (X-Pipe) and Powerkit with sound control is available in TITANIUM.
Great video and great sound! Here are a couple questions:

Initially, the video was shot using both the secondary pipe and the side mufflers. The mufflers have been redesigned to get this sound from just the mufflers.
I have contacted speedART in Germany and asked for the sound clip of just the X-pipe.

There is a switch that installed inside the cabin. I will get a picture of the unit installed.

I have not received this information with this system but typical gains are +10-15 of both. Germany always measures their power at the wheels.

The systems are available now. I will PM you the pricing since this post is not in vendor classifieds.
