I know this must seem stupid, and I have been driving sticks for years but it seems I do not get off the line very fast in my 09 C2 with manual trans. Should I rev it up high and let off the clutch or just do normally and gas it more....
I see pics of it taking off fast from a stand still but it seems slow to me.

Drop the clutch and you will end up having to replace it . It's healthier for the car NOT to do this.
