Used from a sponsor here.... retail at dealer is insane at 13K ish for complete decklid and wing blade and hydraulics etcs as wing blade does rise at XX MPH...
Need to add evo ar box so hydraulics clear that area, wiring issues, etc but in the end IMO no wing looks better then the TT wing on the 997's.
The biggest hurdle is getting a used 997TT wing, search ebay and post on wanted forum here and on the TT forums... I saw a TT modded with new wing and simply PM'd the sponsor and asked if they would sell me the old wing.....
997TT wings can be had at a great deal in the 1500-1800 range, fair price in the 2500-3500 tange and anything north of that I think is way to much, I don't care what the dealer cost is OEM new.
Cost for me - Rear deck lid complete, evo parts costs, prep + paint, and install of everything... in the 3500+ range if I remember right.... it can be a very pricey project, depends on the installer, how much you get the wing for... for me I felt OK with parting with 3500 for this.... I could sell the air box and the wing all ready for an easy swap for that much money I believe.....
Wow that really is a pricey project It looks great tho! I don't think I would go for the TT wing (with these prices) but it looks amazing
Thanks Mick

The real deal, although I did buy them used and then had the refinsihed in a "hyper silver black" finish powdercoat. I am running spacers front and rear along with Techart coil over set up.
Here are pics before the techart coilovers and other work...., only rear spacers as I am not sure the front are on in these pics and wheels not refished... very naked...... one pic does not even have the front chin spoiler on yet...last few a bit closer to where we are today but still a ways back in the project...
I did have capilers painted yellow and these are NOT PCCB, just love the color contrast but if I had to do it again would have gone baby blue just to fend off the clowns that think I did this to try and have people believe these were PCCB....not the case.

2009 997S Cream White over Cocoa Full Leather, PDK, Sport Chrono, Sport Suspension, Navi and a bunch of other stuff...
Previous posting (taken in garage) doesn't give good view of the cream color. Here is a better shot. Taken Sat. in the parking lot at Alice's in Woodside, CA. Other cars in shot are 356 coupe, 550 Spyder (Beck Replica) and 427 Cobra (Replica??? I don't know the owner so I'm not sure)

Cream actually looks really good; it looks like royalty
