Simple answer is in the owner's manual. Lots more info and opinions if you search.

I searched here and elsewhere and found so many different opinions or 1/2 answers it didn't help.

The factory says Mobil 1. Our local dealership uses 0-40W on newer cars and 5-50W on older cars. With 8000 miles I'd say yours is the former!

The help was the one page out of the owner's manual - what other answers do you want?

Thanks Bobby - you saved me a search for something I posted last week.

Here's the thread with that post.

So I think we've given him a lot of help.

And some people don't appreciate help when it's offered. As the others have said you've been given plenty - next time RTFM.

You will be ok as long as you use approved oils on that list. I would go with 5W40 grade.

too tall will become famous soon enough
I'd have a hard time understanding why you would not use the oil that it comes filled with and the owners manual says is the rights stuff. Heck, mine even has a sticker inside the engine cover indicating such!!!
