This works in the bose equipped cars - just did one. Upgraded the woofers, front speakers, and added a 4-channel amp leaving the rear alone and it sounded really, really good. This was in a 2009 car which now has a different head unit and I am unsure if the earlier 997/bose car is set up the same way. If you have a Bose amp under the right seat running on MOST it is likely very similar.

Another speaker option would be the Hertz Space8's in the door... very impressive! I did the Morels before and are equally impressive, though my personal preference I would take the Hertz. The Morels have been out for a while and they are one of those types of speakers/company that if it isn't broke.. don't fix it

www,hertzaudiovideo.com is the link to the site. Also if I were to do a newer vehicle it would be the space8 component, tweeter in the sail panel. also the HL70 31/2 for the mid door. I would definately recommend an EQ for the HL70 though, it can get very loud and has a serious peek around 2k
