That's not been my experience with the Bilstein's. Once I got the ride height dialed in (I used a chart published by Cannga that had a range of heights used by some well-known forum members) I minimized the GT3 splitter scraping while at the same time getting excellent suspension performance. Better than when it was lower. At some point, the springs are over-compressed and you lose compliance. Or so it seemed.
I do think the car could be further improved with some three-way adjustable coilovers. But the adjustments would have to be done by an expert. I'd be out of my depth and would just as likely end up with a rear-engine frankenstein.

I've read from someone that the Bilsteins are not quite an optimal solution. The "soft" setting may be okay, but the sport setting becomes brutal. Instead of the PASM alternative solution, you end up with a suspension that really only has one usable setting. Search for comments.

He's running a bit more pressure but not that much. Actually... with low profile (stiff sidewalls) tires, it is lower pressures that make the centers wear faster - I know opposite of conventional wisdom, but true.

I have had three suspensions on my Turbo .
1) Oem 2) Techart Springs and 3) Bilstein. I have 19 in wheels and based on suggestions made on the Turbo forum opted for Gt3 alignment spec .

Of the three the Bilstein is amazing . Oem was too soft and squishy . Handling was in serious need of help . The Techart springs were quite good . Sport setting gave a hard ride though . The Bilsteins have just the right height adjustments and play for all around driving .
