I have them in 8.5Jx19″ et53 en 12Jx19″ et68, which are the same widths and ET's then the 997GT3 wheels and they fit a 997 S perfect, without spacers.

I don't bother too much about the "concave" looks, just get the best sizes possible as specced by Porsche. Pictures on my blog: http://www.daggie.be.

The GT3 rears also has a factory 5mm spacer behind it also, so that brings the true ET to 63, and I think it should be able to accept another 5mm so a 12" rim with a max 58 ET should fit a NB.

Also to add, and in summary, with a 12" rim, you'd want a 63 ET to end up like the factory GT3 offset, and with a 11" rim (12.7 mm difference in center to rim width), a 50 ET for the same. This is probably where the confusion is.

20x10 et45
20x12 et51

19x11 et40
19x11 et50

Hopefully this helps. I'll monitor this thread for more questions.

I just got botticelli`s and I think they look perfect - matte titanium finish, nice style, to my taste they do look better than ultraleggera`s. But heavier, of course.

Damon, I am a new member of this board and I can't send PM due to my number of posts. Please e-mail me at jrobato@guamcell.net as I am interested in purchasing a set of Ultraleggeras for my 996. Thanks.

RIDING ON THREE WHEELS!
Very nice car.

I don't know if you know the individual well enough to answer this question, but how much would you speculate was spent in mods on this car?

Seems like he wanted the GT3 look and started with the 911S as a starting point.

Thanks

Well, guys, I just received my shipment of Black 19" Ultraleggeras an hour ago. Haven't installed them in my car yet (that'll be done tomorrow). It took me a while to do some research on whether or not the rears are gonna have that concave look to them because that is the look that I wanted. When I saw this post, I decided to take Damon's word for it and ordered my set in 8.5" et49mm F & 10" et52mm R. As Damon had said, the 8.5" et49 is indeed flat faced (in fact, a bit convex) and the rear 10" et52 is confirmed to be concave. Based on my experience and on the size of the Ultralegerras that I've ordered, there is reason to believe that you can trust Damon's word for it (see above specs) on whether or not which sizes are flat-faced or concave.

BTW, the wheels specs I got are specifically for the 996 C2 NB. It is not yet determined if spacers are needed or not, but from the looks of it, spacers may not be necessary.

I will post pics of the Ultraleggeras installed on my car on a different thread as soon as I get the opportunity to do so.

I too am looking into getting a set of ultraleggera's but running into issues regarding the rear wheel. I have narrowed it down to two options 19x11 ET50 and 19x12 ET68. AS JEllis stated, the 19x11 ET65 would require spacers.

Would these two options have a concave, both accordng to Damon would. Which of the two would have a more aggresive concave. Believe they will both stick out around the same. Only difference is overall rim width and backspacing. The 12" with ET68 rim has backspacing 9.21" and the 11" rim with ET50 has backspacing of 8.00"

Which of the two would have more convave? Thanks for the help.

Robert

Hey there. I sent you a PM, and here are a couple pics of my car with the 19x11 rear OZ Ultraleggera's in Black, with the 65 offset! Of course, because of the black wheel it's hard to see the concave (haha!) but trust me, they look good
