they are said to add 8-10 hp so mainly for sweet sounds. these mufflers are not a good match for high flo cats, they are designed for the stock cats

The 997.1 Tubi exhaust just fascinated me to no end . It's really a matter of taste and some are so accustomed to a deeper Porsche PSE sound. I liked the Tubi MORE !!! Much more. The crisp rasp sound has such a note at wot and in low Rpm it's quiet enough to be civilized.

Whether the sound is or isn;t ones taste is like selecting music. One thing is certain the quality and fit and finish is outstanding .

When I jumped to the Turbo I placed the Tubi exhaust on too . Again it was impressive . There was a bit of resonance at the 2500 mark but not enough to fret over and at wot it was symphonic .

As much as I liked those exhaust I never expected to be even more blown away by the Tubi Race version on the Turbo . Oh my!!! First it is ferocious at start up or wot but at low rev its even more quiet than the Tubi regular. The lack of backpressure allws one to quiet down the exhaust when its appropriate but let it roar just as easily .

Bara --you are going to be very happy . Do you have an intake and software yet ? On my 997.1 I had the F77 box and software . It was real nice setup.

Bara: I'm tempted once again to pick up your AWE cats, but now this talk about the Tubi has me thinking.

AWE cats with stock headers and mufflers for now then AWE mufflers later??

OR...

Tubi mufflers and be done with it??

Where did you get the Tubi's, and how much did you pay for them?

Bara, can you provide the link to the Tubi vs Awe? Let us know when you get your Tubi's installed. Can't wait to hear the sound clips.
Thanks

i got the tubi's installed today. basically, tubi amplifies the natural porsche growl we all love. its not a mono tone sound. but a multitude of crisp metallic like sounds.
its a little quiter that i had expected with the rest of the exhaust stock ie cats and header. i will probably do a x51 header and be done with it

normal driving is almost the same as stock. a little gas brings out the growl

here is a tubi with awe and f77 intake

I am eager to get the AWE cats I am getting from Bara, and pairing them with my mods. With AH pipes and EVOMS CAI, should sound ridiculous. Now, if I only had the whine of a SuperCharger...
