What is the price for a set of machined black 2 tone? I have a 05 997S. What tire size for front and rear?
Thanks,
Jim
The price will be very good.............just plan on waiting 5-8 weeks for the wheels.
Yes, I am very pissed off at Forgestar. They truly need to get their sh!t in gear. They are ruining their name/reputation. It isn't so bad on this site but go visit some others and see what they have to say.
Guys - I have been jerked around by Forgestar beyond belief. They have even gone to the point of telling my sales guy (a Forum sponsor) that my wheels "are being finished and cleaned up today and will be shipped tomorrow". This has happened twice in the last two weeks. If the wheels weren't so well priced I would have told Forgestar to go fuk themselves a couple weeks ago. I still am not getting the honest answer from them (via my retailer). I really question their integrity and honesty at this point. That place is beyond a clusterfuk. Beware!!!
I e-mailed these guys and asked them for price quote and availability (They are located in O.C. California ), they responded to my email next day $1200.00 for 18" and $1400.00 for $19" . they custom make your order i guess . Availability wise no response from their side so who knows. Is it 4 weeks or 8 weeks for delivery?.

They didn't give you a delivery time because they haven't the slightest idea themselves......and that's sad.
I just ordered set of 18" OZ wheels and tires from Damon at Tire Rack (what a nice guy) They know their stuff very well. Thank you Damon for all the help.
Ok - I gotta let you guys know the story. I just got off the phone with Forgestar directly and they have indicated that they are indeed having trouble with their bit on the titaniium finished wheels for Porsche's ballseat lugholes. I don't think that it's a problem with BMWs. When they say "problem" they mean (at least in my case) that there is a slight scratch on one of my wheels on the finish in the area where the lugbolt goes in. The scratch is about 2mm long, very hard to detect and most likely will be hidden by the lugbolt itself. I am having a picture sent to me today but I'm guessing that I will be unable to detect in a picture. I appreciate the quality control and the fact that Forgestar does not want to send something out that isn't 100% perfect. I think that speaks volumes for them from a QC and customer service standpoint. They couldn't have been more pleasant to speak to as well.
Thus, I feel like I owe Forgestar an apology for questioning "the reason" they have not shipped my wheels. I was under the impression that the constant changing of the drill bit "breaking" was during the hole drilling process -- in fact the bits were breaking as they were sizing the Porsche specific bit itself.
I look at the situation like this --- the scratch isn't big, isn't on the face of the wheel and nearly impossible to detect. The wheels are going to get nicked, scratched, etc. in a very short period of time anyway. My guess is I will have Forgestar release the wheels today.
the fact that the more expensive the car, the cheaper the owners seem to be with mods... everyone wants discount wheels but own a new porsche.. i dont get it.
