If suncoast cannot get it for you then you are probably out of luck. There is not much they cannot do in the OEM world.

I just ordered the front mini-harness for the 09' cars, I'm gonna play around with it and see what I can find. Still not sure if you have to change the front light module, hopefully someone out there can give you some feedback. We have sold many of the front lights, just not 100% sure what is required for the install.

Hi guys, i posted a question on fitting gen2 front lights, i have all the parts needed inc module, anyone know which wires to cut and splice yet, heard that if you run a wire from the fog relay to the fog fuse this gives you the drl feature?
any help on this subject would be appreciated as i have all the parts to facelift my 997/1 to 997/2 just no knowledge, my local opc said they will code the module for me, anyone know if i just did this what would happen,? would the drls only come on as side lights?
regards Tim

Hi ron thanks for the quick reply, not sure he would want to tell me as im in the uk, if you find out let me know, did you have to change the bootlid on your 997 for the reflector to fit? i have a turbo rear bumper and bootlid fitted at the moment, do like the reflector, not sure if it will fit on a turbo bootlid tho,
Kind Regards from good old blighty (uk) Tim.

as above

Hi, thanks for reply, im told the control unit (997.618.512.01) has to be changed and coded so you can alter the light settings via a piwis tester. the light settings have to be changed from incandescent to led, otherwise they wont function properly as leds are lower voltage.
However in each facelift light there is a module and this senses the light for the drls. (997.631.241.00) i think in my earlier post i refered to the control unit as the module, my appologies.
I wondered if i just wired up lights and fitted the control unit , then coded it, what would happen, surely the lights would work but would you need to turn the fog light switch on for the drls or would they work via the side lights? Thats the question. would they indeed, well until somebody can tell me im stumped,
Ron may be the man if AI design in NY can sort out his gen2 conversion, only problem is im in the uk and ive drawn a blank here, so im pinning my hopes on ron.
