Meteor Gray is great. White seems to be trendy now. I compromised between Black and Silver MG was the call!

White on a 911 stands out much more than any of the grey shades. I'm happy with mine!

But as someone said for some reason on a 911 dirt actually shows up heavily. Maybe it's the particular shade. If it's any help my previous car was Basalt and it was actually great at hiding the dirt and really really easy to keep clean. Much better than my current white car in fact.

Meteor or GT Silver Metallic. The GT is nice, darker than Arctic and a few shades lighter than Meteor. Too bad for the upcharge GT.

To the OP, if I may ask, what is the forecast delivery date for your car? Get the order in by X date and car arrives??

Thx guys for your opinion, I saw a 09 black C4s with beige interior and red strip today and it took my breath away, i guess I am partial to black cars, the white looked better at night under street light than during a cloudy day IMHO

How about a Basalt black ( supposed to hide better little better , easier maintenance )

Also with Basalt or plain black what do ya guys think between sand Beige and black interior

I understand color preferene is subjective but it is useful to get some opinions to validate against mine

I had the same decision to make. It was between a meteor gray c4s launch car and the car I purchased. Obviously, I chose white because most of my cars are white, but I was a hair trigger from buying the meteor gray. White seems to show off the lines of the car a bit better. Either way, you're in a win win situation.

Meteor/Blk wheels is definitely a "sinister" look. (FU, and the horse you rode in on.)

Meteor/silver wheels is the "low-key" look. (Not trying to impress, just enjoy a precision car. Now go away.)

The white is more of "friendly" look. (Hi honey, want to go get groceries? And have the Smith's over for dinner? Oh and puppy needs a bath...)

Color may be influenced by your disposition...

I look at cars like I look at women:

Black/Meteor Gray = hot rocker chick. Black leather. Get out of my way

Carrera White = Anna Kournikova at wimbledon. Elite Athelete (I know she was never #1 but top 50 is elite) that has the looks to complement the performance.

I just purchased a white 2007 C4S and think it is BEAUTIFUL. I never particularly liked white on a 911 but for some reason it really works on the 997. My car has the two tone black/beige interior with Sport seats and it's really handsome interior. I probably would never have thought of ordering that color combo but it REALLY works ! Only thing I would do differently would be to order deviating carpets in black. Good luck with your purchase order.

Although I think the nightmare of exterior cleaning could possibly manifest itelf on the interior too.

I actually like my black one over the grey. The black is just gorgeous. The car is so small anyway it really isnt that hard to keep clean. Now for my Landrover: white.
