I just bought a 2003 996TT that I was showing off to my buddy when he said, "nice car but you've got a light out." Within 2 minutes I had the tail light off, and an ohmmeter to every bulb, which were all good. Now I'm getting worried...I HATE electrical troubleshooting.) Next I'm testing the connector terminals and to my dismay...both center pins were hot on the driver's side and only 1 on the passenger side. Next to the fuse box...all good. I was ready to call the car stereo place that just upgraded the factory sub but came on here at the advice of anohter buddy (more well informed one). I'm glad I did! Now I can relax about that lamp being out.
