Looks great! I also have my wing blade in flat black. Looking forward to seeing the new deck/lid and bumper.

i was thinking about the GT3 wing or even the cup wing on my C2S but then all you really have is a pseudo GT3, that kind of bothers me.
Also, not sure how much more speed the bigger wing would get me on fast turns like #17 at Sebring or coming of the back straight at Homestead.

I don't feel like I have a pseudo GT3 with my Aerokit. I guess it's because it came from Porsche that way.
Not sure about the speed and a larger wing.

Your car is definitely beautiful, its just that when I see a 997 with the aero kit I'm always a little dissapointed when i find out its not a "real" GT3.

Actually, I have lapped several GT3's with my stock C2S. Its a great feeling getting the point by from a superior car.
That said, I would love to get one someday.

So if the factory puts an aerokit on a 911 (like they have done many times over the years) it is ok...but if someone puts a gt3 wing on there is something wrong? People should be able to do these mods, or whatever (Techart, Rinspeed, Vorsteiner) and enjoy them. My only beef is with the guys that slap a turbo or gt3 emblem on a car and really pose.....

Justin, it looks great!
Just one question, how did you fit the wing to the new 997.2 air intake with the 2 air scoops?

I'd also like to know how you convert an OEM GT3 wing for a 997.1 when the air intake and fan are on opposite sides. Do you just cut a new hole and blank off the other with the fan?

You need to cut another inlet on the drivers side in order to mate up the air inlets with the dual inlets on the air box. I recommend doing this before paint.
