New to the board, just picked up my first Porsche about a month ago...'09 C2S, PDK, Aqua Blue. Will post pictures in the next day or so. I have had some initial trouble (needed a new fuel injector at 400 miles, sound system Amp crapped out on Monday), but compared to previous cars (Audi S4, BMW 650), this car is an absolutely amazing driving experience.

I do have what is probably a dumb question, so I apologize in advance. The car has NAV, but no SAT. Is it possible to add SAT Radio and control it through the Information System? I did search the forums, but did not see it addressed....

Thanks!

Congrats on the new car, looking forward to the pictures.

I can't comment on the SAT radio question, don't have it.

SAT (XM Radio) requires the "bump" (antenna) on the roof. Probably just source the OE antenna cable, install the antenna, then, have your dealer turn on the SAT function in the PCM.

I am sure somebody knows for sure.

Congrats. PICS PLEASE!!

OH - never read anywhere of the problems you had, these cars are quite dependable, so your intial experience was an aberration in my opinion.

Do a search on XM. Pretty sure that is one of the few options that cannot be retrofitted.

Congrats on the new car! Don't ever hesitate to ask questions on this forum, no question is dumb or stupid... You learn more info every time.

I can't comment about the Sat Radio either, sorry...

There are always small problems with launch cars... It will be taken care of, this is Porsche we're talking about in the end

Welcome. Great car. I was looking at a car that had NAV and no sat. I called 2 dealers and told me you cant add factory Sat. I ended buying a car that had it installed.
