Recently ive been experiencing a very odd thing from the car. whenever i go through a tunnel or drive on a bridge, i get this howly, whistling windy noise that seems to be coming from the front of the car(best way to describe it would be blowing in a bottle). It is also accompanied by a slight but non continous buzz/drone inside the cabin. I did a search and didnt find a conclusive answer to this( wheel barrings, alignment, tires need changing)
The sound happens ALWAYS on tunnels and bridges, but is also there on certain roads that i take along my routes. ( thats the thing that puzzles me, it doesnt happen everywhere, only specific roads that i take) The roads are in very good condition and no other car i drove had any issues.
My car has 12500Km and the tires are in pretty good shape. Also the car stays in a straigh line when i let go of the steering wheel so i think that rules out the alignment issue.
I would really appreciate any help on this issue.

The only thing constant is your vehicle, given the sound occurs on varying conditions (you probably just hear it more in tunnels), my first guess is that it's tire roar occurring on select road surfaces. Pay attention as road surfaces change and see what you find.

I agree. Seems like the cabin noise that you are experiencing simply pertains to the unique characteristics of the roadways in question.

I see....
I also forgot to mention that 90% of the noise happens on recent and new roads/tunnels/bridges. No sound whatsoever when im on an old road. Could that possibly have anything to do with it ?
The roadways where I live are quite varied and each type seems to carry a unique sound as the huge tires of these vehicles roll across given surfaces. I’m sure that the noise levels pertain to myriad roadway construction characteristics, including material composition, surface etching, etc. If you’re experiencing increased cabin noise on new roadways, the culprit is all the more likely to be roadway derived---a good thing in that your car is not the problem!

Phew...thats a relief.....
But just to be safe, ill bring up the issue the next time i take the car up for service, maybe someone else experienced this phenomenon and they might have a solution
