I have the Softronic in my C4S, and a friend has the GIAC in his C4S, same configs and i can't notice a difference.

What i like about my Softronic is i can flash it myself whenever i want with the cable they provide me, my friend had to have his ECU taken out and sent in to get it done

At the end of the day they're both good

if i understand the concept of ECU tuning correctly they all simply push timings plus by the cost of pushing car emissions and temperature beyond levels required for manufacturer to obey they give you a bit more torque and power.

so efficiently they all in NA cars are pretty close and softronic benefit is the ability for you to flash back original file if you need to show your car back to dealer for warranty work. may be other vendors also have something like that now, who knows.

if dealer notices your ECU was flashed you will have good chances to loose your powertrain warranty so be aware of this aspect.
