Tubi, Cargraphics, SpeedART, or PSE ?

Hi Guys,

If you had a choice which exhaust system would you go with? The Tubi, Cargraphics, SpeedART, or PSE? and Why? and Do you have a sound clip from your car?

I am trying to decide on one of these systems for my 2009 4S. Last week I installed a set of Cargraphic mufflers with a Fabspeed X-pipe but I think it is missing something.

And I don't think I can keep buying parts until I find the right tune.

Thanks in advance for all of your generous contributions.

i'd recommend going to meets/shows and finding people in your area with them. This way you can actually listen to them. prices are all similar and so is performance. Sound is the only real difference. you are just going to get a bunch of replies saying "i have X brand it is the best ever."

GL.

I have the PSE + X51 headers and love it. But the only reason I have it is because the car came with it. If my car didn't come with it, I would've first tried the Gundo Hack and if I didn't like that would've seeked out a complete third party exhaust solution. I believe a third party solution would be better money spent. I do love that my set up is all factory though and no warranty issues to deal with.

I have the Cargraphic installed and like it, although it's pretty darn lound. Sound clips are ok, but my recommendation would be to audition them all in person. A bit more effort, but it will insure you get the sound you are looking for, as they are all subtley different.

The sound I am looking for is something close to the PSE. I also like the fact that the PSE can be turned off for a quite drive. Has anyone tried the PSE in a combo with an X-pipe? Thanks

I do love this feature as well.

Personally, I'm not sold on the X-Pipe's benefits on a flat 6 engine and some on this forum have reported a drop in power from it though they like the sound benefits. If you haven't done so already, search this forum about it, there are lots of threads...

btw you should give the mufflers some time, the tone should change slightly after about 2000 kilometers.

This is very true, it will get louder as the insulation burns some depending on what they used. Given your current setup you say you feel it is 'missing something', is it the loudness? the tone? the depth? If I were in your shoes and already spent the money on Cargraphic, I would probably opt for Cargraphic headers to round out the package.

It is missing the deep throaty sound. I did not want to mess with the headers due to any warranty issues. Thanks,

My Cargraphic exhaust definitely deepened in tone after a few hundred miles...

I like both Cargraphic and AWE. I heard AWE full system and it is great, it's loud but sticks to the original throaty sound. And Cargraphic is amazing! It is really deep and throaty, and I just heard a car with Cargraphic mufflers FVD Bombarcher sounds great as well!

I'm not a fan of Tubi... And am not so familiar with Fabspeed, so I can not comment.

Maybe you should switch your cats, it will change the sound a lot!

mass is infamous around these parts
This might be the first exhaust question asked on the forum....Anyone who spends the money on Tubi will agree that there is nothing comparable in regards to sound.

Not on your list but I went with AWE (mufflers, cats, and headers).

I chose AWE because:
Great reputation in terms of high quality product and stand-up customer service.
Not to loud (this was important to me as my car is a cab and I didn't want a system on the extreme level of loud).
Tone - Nice and throaty.

Just my opinion and the last two points are definitely a personal thing.
