Great info on this thread . I forwarded the thread to parts specialst and have him read the ideas shared , look at prices, and come up with ideas . Then we bounce them off each other until we get to step (installation) .

In the meantime .. I am still driving my Turbo . It's been three days off from the PDK 997S.

I think the most fun I am having with this are how different the cars are despite cousin like similarities. The overall experience has both cars complementing each other by offering variety ..

Returning to the Turbo also reminded me of all the work that went into this car . It had me reflecting on the many transitions from when it was stock to its current setup but it also gave me a chance to reflect on how much time has passed and how I have grown over the years. Since this is my first garage queen there is a owner/car emotional perception difference when a car is driven every day and life changes with the car associated with each changing event. With a garage queen a car driven infrequently has one sitting in it , listening to the last CD of months back, and driving it-- it brings a wave of emotions and memories emphasizing how significant the car's presence has been to be part of my life as I grew but as the car grows older .

Larry, like I said before you have the best of both worlds. Many of us are envious. Enjoy!

Sharing these cars on the forum brings even more enjoyment. I have even had a chance to meet a few members and hear about their cars .

There are some guys who have car collections which are far greater than mine and even one of these cars is overwhelming.

I feel that one of the most interesting aspects of these discussions is noticing the common sentiment about the cars . I meet many Porsche owners .. of different age, gender, region, as well as differering views and philosophies . In fact they can have different Porsches even . But whether the person owns a Boxter or a Carerra Gt there seems to be a theme of great respect that the owner has about his car .

I had parked it after it was Chino detailed . It was so clean that I didn't want to drive it for almost a month. it's not clean anymore so I am rolling it out for a few more drives.

Patrick (Iamhollywood) -- let's set up an evening photo shoot. I need a few days notice to make sure both are clean .

I sent you and e mail and threw out a few location ideas and try and figure out how to get both cars out to it. Hopefully the weather will be good this week . I do see a hurricane in Nicaragua and the gulf of Mexico and Florida kinda look close http://www.wunderground.com/tropical...y.html#a_topad.
