View Poll Results: Select the option that best describes your use of protective film on your Porsche.
I introduced this poll on another Porsche enthusiast website but, given some differences in audience composition, I thought that it would be a good idea to introduce it here as well.
Just interested in learning to what extent 6speedonline members use automobile protection film on their Porsches. I use both paint and headlight protection film on my car and I am very satisfied with the appearance and protective qualities of the film.
Participation in the poll and any thoughts on vehicle protection film are appreciated.

I had the 3M paint protection film on the hood, front fenders, full front bumper, headlights and foglights and side mirros. I drove the car year round including snow, slush, etc and after 4 years the front of the car is absolutely flawless where the film is. I was so pleased with it I had the same done to my 09 Carrera. This car will be my daily driver when I return the Boxster off lease in 2 weeks.
If you can't stand stone chips, etc to the front of the car then the paint protection film is a good investment.
I've had it on my '00 C4 and now the '02 Turbo and I think it is well worth the money. Lights, bumper, fenders and halfway up the hood. I've had it taken off after three years and had no paint fade mismatch.

I used the #m, on the front hood, front bumper, headlights, fogs, mirrors, front wheel wellb15 inches in the rear of the front, i have all wheel drive, also in the rear wheel well as well. I heard that Ventura protection film is better though.... Mine is new, so i cant call it yet...
